Bioanalytics

 
 

In the Bioanalytics department, we focus on the complex processes in living cells. We develop analytical methods and strategies to investigate these processes and to analyse the resulting data.

The main focus of our research lies on molecules of biological or medical importance: e.g. glyco- and phosphoproteins, certain metabolites or synthetic biomolecules. Furthermore, lab-on-a-chip technologies and the miniaturisation of devices for biological and chemical analysis play an important role in our research.
